"The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation."

ISP Level Internet Content Filtering a.k.a Clean Feed will be disaster on this country that can’t be allowed to be implemented
The above embedded video is from ZD net interviewing effectively 3 of the 5 most powerful IT managers in Australia today. They are the key discission makers for Bigond, Internode and IInet. who holds collectively 60% of Internet retail business conducted in Australia.
In what would a world first they all carry the same message ISP Level Filters is a lame duck
Alert – Whistle Blowers wanted
Are you willing to share that information?
If yes:-
Go to a public internet café, create an free mail account and e-mail me at admin@chairmanrudd.com
Anonymity will be maintained at all times. What’s the worst that can happen to me, I get arrested, refuse to say who my sources are, then jailed for contempt of court…. after getting out land a book deal and hit the lecture circuit…..!
Don’t waste my time with who’s screwing who…well if you have pics you can …!
Special thanks to all at fm2000-radio.com for featuring ChairmanRudd.com during their broadcast on the 06/11/2008
PS: exellent play list, the Euro's have a thing it seems for Aussie music...!

Press Statment: 06/11/2008
ISP filtering will fail the Australian public on many levels.
Its my firm belief that the public has been mis informed and mislead. Parents will be falsely believing their kids are going to be safe online. Not true at all……. ISP level Filters will not stop predators from interacting with minors in chat rooms, instant messaging, blogs or social networks such as myspace and facebook.
It will suppress legitimate sites from expressing their point of view based on being controversial or to some objectionable. These sites will be effected by neo conservative view's or minority groups with political influence.
ISP's will have to bare cost and they will in turn pass that on the customers.
Getting around ISP level filtering is going to be easy
Security will become an issue as the government may implement restrictions on VPN or site encryption. Internet Banking, on line shopping, and business operations could be at huge risk
Its going to slow down the net no end. In Australia that means an already strangled internet is going further suffer making Australia even more a joke then it already is.
Someone stated recently that Charity and Censorship are similar. Both should start in the home, however unlike charity, censorship should finish in the home
More then anything right now I’m very concerned at the lack of mainstream news reporting on this issue. Baring the US elections and the financial crisis you would think that censorship which will be more restrictive then China, Iran or Cuba impose on their population would be of huge concern to what’s meant to be the free press in Australia… but it seems not

Sorry could not help myself had to use that one against Telstra
Why the hell has the Australian Sex Party Website link and banner been added? One reason; they represent freedom of choice, diversity and want to make a stand against the moral minority and that’s a good thing. This site is not what could be called family friendly but if your 14 and above you should have the maturity to understand the argument they make thus making it suitable for viewing
“Like most I thought we were getting away from the conservative dogma of the Howard years instead we now have moved into the rudd inquisition era ”
-- Hotmexican
When comes to religion it’s very straight forward. Regardless of the faith to truly believe in your faith it has to be done without question. This is where the problems start. As the populations personal economic, education level and general living standards improves people will question values that they feel no longer apply to them.
Homosexuality?
Sex?
Abortion?
Contraception?
Marriage?
Race?
Natural Selection vs. Creationism?
Faith based Bigotry and abuse?
Separation of faith and state?
Voluntary euthanasia?
State funding of faith based schools?
just to mention a few....!
The internet has provided a platform that's allowed people on either side of the arguments to state their views and beyond. It would not have been to long ago that someone could have been tossed out of there respective faith for even bring up one of the subjects listed above for discussion. In some places it still can get you put in jail
In part the internet has forced the faiths to confront these issues and more. The best way to avoid having to deal with these subjects or worse having to adjust those values to conform to the general community values is not discussing it at all and suppressing anyone that tries too. Filtering will no doubt affect this. Some of the population including myself have now chossen failth has no practical purpose we know why the sun comes up in the morning...! Others still do relay on faith to drive them..good on them..!, some are undecided... im sure they will figure it out..! In anycase free flowing discussion should never been censored

ISPs and the Government could be legally liable for the scheme's failures, particularly as content providers have no right to appeal against being blocked unnecessarily.
The Government is refusing to reveal specific details about its trials, even the names of the ISPs who have volunteered to be involved. Some ISPs will begin their six-week trials this week. All the trials will be completed by the middle of next year.
Australia's largest ISP, Telstra, and Internode have said they will not participate in the trials. The second largest ISP, Optus, will run only a scaled- back trial of just the first tier while iiNet, the third biggest provider, has said it will participate simply to show the Government that its scheme will not work.
The policy has attracted almost universal opposition from online consumers, lobby groups, ISPs, network administrators, some children's welfare groups, the Opposition, the Greens, NSW Young Labor and even conservative Liberal senator Cory Bernardi, who famously tried to censor Gordon Ramsay's swearing on television.
